CLARK FOSLER
Team Principal, Clark Fosler, grew up on a Seward County farm and still farms 900 acres today, including one quarter section that was homesteaded by his family shortly after the Civil War.
While attending the University of Nebraska, Clark began working for a title insurance company, delivering and picking up documents in the days before email, scanners and faxes. He progressed to administrative and office duties, embracing the advances in technology as they came on the scene. Over time, Clark progressed to the role of Director of Operations of a small title company, establishing production procedures and recordkeeping protocols. A merger and purchase moved him from small business to the corporate environment. Clark became a department manager and later Branch President.
It was also during his time in the corporate world that Clark was leader of a team of nine people, each from a different branch and unfamiliar with one another, that was charged with analyzing and purchasing a software system for all thirteen corporate branches spanning five states. This team also was responsible for implementing training in the new operating system and implementing new workflow procedures and staffing recommendations for each branch in the corporation.
2003 brought new challenges as Clark entered into a partnership that was expanding its investments in real estate tax certificates from one state of operation to two. Plotting a strategic growth plan, the partnership would eventually invest in thirteen different states. In addition to the core business, this partnership would expand into commercial and residential real estate development, bond and warrant investment and real estate management. Ownership of a niche title certificate company based in California and creation of a team of professionals to spearhead two large Florida development projects, were among Clark’s many ancillary projects during the past eighteen years.
All of the above gives Clark a unique skill set and point of view that he believes can be beneficial to almost any business at any stage of operation.
